The point of the post is that there should be some sort of message there. Because it looked like to me that the gods just didn't like me and killed me. But yes, anti-paladin, slept, and cleaved.
And on a side, this game shouldn't be called the carrion fields, it should be called the field of dreams since that's where you spend most of your time, sleeping.

I assassinated a guy that was asleep, and he was unable to tell how he died. He just knew "he'd been killed".
So that, at least, is one possibility.

I think PWK still gives an echo other than you have been killed even if you are asleep.

When you get PWK'd in your sleep you get the "Your mind disintegrates" message. This was either cleave or assassinate probably.
