So I've noticed the shopkeepers regain their gold over time. But what's the actual regain rate (that's so I could maximize my gold farming routines, yeah)?

I'm not going to say, exactly.

The rate itself is somewhat random and the amounts are based on numbers that the area author plugs in.

that the regaining event fires on area repop and does not proceed further if the area is not visited?
