You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Could someone go into more detail on this? I mean, does it do damage only? Does give a malediction in some way? Does it do both? Thanks in advance.

Divine Retribution

Syntax: commune 'divine retribution'

This supplication brings retribution against those who find it necessary to murder beings who walk in the light.

It deals damage that scales with the evilness of the victim.

Isn't it linked to their pks?

Or is that what you mean by evilness?

But yeah, that damage can get quite nasty. I think I saw Ravon take an oblit through protections once?

hehe,

I had that sup as both selfren and sarien - I too was disappointed when it hit for like a "decimate" next to my Unspeak wrath

I had kind of ruled it out as a result.

When he got up into the 200+ PK range, Hunsobo would take probably double the damage that Wrath would inflict, if not more.

I remember getting dispelled (lost protection and stone skin, I think) and then ERADICATED the next round before I could flee.

Made solo raiding really tough, even with Emperor powers.
