Theerkla's post reminded of a thought I had with improved invis. This spell is just nasty when you happen to be at a level that can't see the mage yet, however (I believe) that level is exactly identical for a mage who's quite accustomed to magic, and a warrior quaffing a potion.
Perhaps this could be adjusted, so that both the level of the player, and of the detect invis spell could be taken into account? It just seems a bit more sensible that mages would be able to penetrate an improved invis with their more powerful spells, before someone using a magical item. Maybe this is already the case though, since I've never tried to figure out EXACTLY when someone can see an invoker and when not, and if so, just ignore the orc. Thanks.
