I (and a lot of others) think drow aps should get spellcraft. It would really be neat to see a drow ap played other than the bash bash bash trip trip trip kind. I mean, drow should have a natural tendency toward magic to begin with. I myself would love to see a deathmage rather than a warrior that can charge an axe. Thoughts?

I am glad your IRC friends agree with you, but...

APs are not true mages. They get enhanced damage, so they don't get spellcraft. As far as race/class combos go, they are perhaps the worst combination in my opinion. I think it would be nice if APs were given something to balance the high int races, and I am hoping this would be part of a long awaited AP revamp, but I am not holding my breath.

A-P's will never get spellcraft.
