We knew we wanted to bring new life to the Scarab cabal but we also knew we did not want it and Scion to coexist. Not wanting to close Scion entirely (for multiple reasons), we came up with the narrative that played out back in June.

I'll say that the status quo with regards to Scion isn't likely to change any time soon. For the time being, Scion will remain an open venue for quests and other potential fun things, but will almost certainly not have access to its powers.

Just close it to players and have it be taken over by NPCs, that way it doesn't need to be considered "weakened" or "defeated," just moved in a different direction, and they'll be totally open for quests.

I would love to have the random imm load an npc and go pick fights during the slow times.

I had hoped to try and get the cabal back on track but looks like I am barking up the wrong tree.

I want to come back and play a scion.
