Can this be done? I wrote up a great role for a character over 3 years ago and I'd really like to try it again. I auto-deleted at a mid-level due to lack of RL time, and I never really interacted with anyone.

I'd be changing a few things to fit the newer character because it would be for a different cabal.

Is this okay? I know the role readers have better things to do than remember roles written a long time ago, but I wouldn't want it held against me if someone thought I was just rehashing old stuff.

While I do not think you should really be using the exact same role as you had before... If there is something you really want to play go for it. I still would "rehash it" out a bit more so it is not exactly the same as your old role. There is nothing wrong with taking part of an idea that you like to play and making it into a new character. Add some flavor and fun to it. I would guess copying a role exactly is probably frowned upon by imms even if you are the original author but what do I know?
