You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#56307, "Scion"

So to echo the post on dios, with the chancellor dead and no other leadership present and 2 members, is scion going to be rebuilt from the ashes or dismantled?

I ask because I'd like to roll a scion.

Answer: I (personally) don't know.

My return question: Will you consider your character a failure if you don't get into Scion? If so, I wouldn't roll a Scion.

If you have a cool role in mind, then I submit that you should roll up a character, play your role and if you get into Scion, great. If not, be flexible enough that you could go in a different direction and still enjoy your character.

I know that's not the theory-crafter's cup of tea; many people roll with a specific build in mind. That's the best answer I can give you at the moment.
