I've always thought to myself. Wouldn't it make sense to give Shapeshifter who focus minor/major in the same focus get a bonus of some sort?

Like if I was to spend more time studying medicine as my major and minor, and someone else whom studied medicine and law as a major and minor will likely take less from medicine.

Its one of those things that doesn't really warrant a perk in my opinion. You, as the player, picked to have the same major and minor because that's what you wanted your character to do. If you aren't happy with how going double in a single focus plays out, then you don't have to do it.

They already take 15 mana per tick for both major and minor forms I think. That's a pretty big bonus.
