Why not just have near live feeds that post logs of all deaths, arena fights, etc right after it finishes. Then we get to see all the action and we could also see both sides of the log... Would you be able to log commands?

This would also put that Log forum to use. :-p

We tossed around this idea, but the work to remove tells, says, etc, is not trivial. And many people would not appreciate having their fights posted anyway, so we'd need to code some sort of opt out. Most logs need heavy editing to be coherent and readable anyway.

Add to thing for which we that play the game can enjoy and those that only spectate the forums must do without.

Perhaps when the need to a CF fix is so great, they may roll a character and come on it.

I'd be happy to pitch in - if it's windows, I'm willing to help out writing parsers, etc - I need something more interesting to do in my spare time than writing tools for people who are too lazy to learn.

Specifically, PDF formatted ones with accurate statistics, complete lists of all
PK wins and deaths, maybe some charts in there too (PkPh broken down
by levels, a mini map of thera with all the characters PK wins and PK deaths
plotted on it etc).

This is something that should be possible to do entirely automatically,
in code. It will give an extra incentive for ppl to buy more PBFs, and be a cool
perk in general as it will serve as a permanent record of a character.
