Can we perhaps make detect evil/good/chaos/order something easily given out to any follower of an immortal that opposes one of those things?
I don't see them as a mechanical advantage, only a means to know who to hunt. So if I want to follow Baer, I could be given detect evil at our first meeting, so I can better know who to kill, or detect order for Lyristeon perhaps, detect chaos for Umiron or Destuvius, etc.
I ask this mostly for the ethos detects, since those can be difficult or impossible to tell just from rp (or their lack there of).

It really brings the 'nerf gun' to what is sneaky/deception style RP. I don't think people should be easily aware of others alignments. Currently there are preps to handle the majority of detects.
