Now, I'm normally not a stickler for real life things in CF, but this is a bit far off from what CF is. I'm fine with languages, so long as its languages related to the game. And taking this out keeps in the theme of making CF all-original.

Also, please, no one take this as a slight at anyone, especially not the IMM staff. I took a 6-month hiatus and came back to find all sorts of new, fun things. I love all the changes, and I realize that time is a commodity, and that there are all sorts of things going on in the backround that take up the time here.

Now, if this is on the slate for things that need redone, ignore me completely.

Ignorance is bliss, and I know too many happy people.

Yup. That section already has minor Under Construction flags stuck in the ground, for exactly the reasons you've put forward.

It and still a few areas yet are still stock,

Since Sabiene's second area (well, half-area) went in, all of our areas were written for CF. Versions of Emerald Forest have appeared on other MUDs (often those which are, ahem, inspired by Carrion Fields) since it was opened here (in accordance with its license, which permits that) although we've also tweaked our original version in that time. After the next round of changes, it should shine a bit more.

We've since taken steps towards making sure any new areas which are added to Carrion Fields don't have that sort of license. We pride ourselves on our uniqueness, and we'd like to avoid having to constantly swap our areas in the future.
