You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#4967, "Lowbie Wood-Elf Loving/Suggestion."

Any reason why we couldn't put healer mobs at the pits of wood-elves, but change them to druids instead?

For lowbies, they'd work just fine identically to healers, since druids and healers get the same four sups lowbies receive.

For higher levels, could either leave the mobs to do nothing, or to make in interesting, maybe make them be healer mobs that only give druid sups, with possibly the NPC-unique healer sups (energize and such), and maybe make them be able to herbal medicine instead for a cost (if it's possible, and you could do it with or without the usual timer).

Main idea was just to even things up for wood-elves, but realized a half-dozen mobs for one race in 1-10 level might be kinda useless. This could be handy for other people roaming about, particularly Outlanders and anyone else who wants to avoid town.
