You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#484, "Wizlist Questions and Requests!"

Few questions and requests about the current wizlist:

Every Immortal on the Wizlist is currently active?

Every Immortal on the Wizlist is accepting followers?

Every Immortal on the Wizlist will respond to an email/note/prays in an adequate amount of time from potential followers?

When was the Wizlist put in alphabetical order?

Could the Wizlist have a time stamp every time a change is made so potential followers will know if their god has recently gone inactive?

To our knowledge, yes. However there is always this grey becoming-inactive time during which an immortal may be thought to be active but really is not.

>Every Immortal on the Wizlist is accepting followers?

Maybe. It depends on what you consider a "follower" and what they consider a follower.

Immortals are much like mutual funds on the stock market. Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. There's no way for anyone to know this, not even for the immortal in question, although they might have a better guess than most.

>When was the Wizlist put in alphabetical order?

Recently.

>made so potential followers will know if their god has

Uh, how would that help you? You mean that you would be able to look and see at the top if something had changed and then not have to look down a page or two? Another option is to just look for the shrine or the helpfile of the immortal. If we're taking them off the wizlist, there's a good bet those will be gone, too. The helpfile of the immortal is probably going to be the most helpful of them all for you.
