Characters.

There are currently 3941 unique hosts that have connected to CF across 704 characters. This is why I don't pay much attention to IPs because of dynamic IP allocation by various hosting companies.

It's not dynamic IP. It's proxies because there are people with hundreds of characters apparently .

Good point on proxies. It's both. There are characters with dozens of legitimate IPs from the same subnet.
