Being slept/knocked out by a poison thief at below 50 % hp should that not apply the same thing as the magical type?. Now especially as the duration of the two are approx the same. I know it affects you differently, however you can be held down very long where there are two skills, jack + inhaled. (auch)(one thief two skills *shiver* long long sleep) And then especially when your hurt beyond 50%.

I'll be the first to admit I have no idea what you're actually trying to say there. Take a deep breath and try again?

first sorry, was really early in the morning for me there.... and I was tiered when I wrote it.
But scenario is that I am poisoned from before + starving, and used inhaled poison on. total hp was 19(not important) Could not wake even after two tics. Considering one sleep allowes you to wake and the other does not.. But as I said I understand that they are different things.
The same thing bothers me with the poisoner thiefs is that inhaled poison(sleep version) is not affected by that one attempt may be failed. Ei the second one should be harder, now that you are aware of someone attempting to get a rag around your mouth. Try getting an aware person to breath in a rag filled with cloroform....
and no Im not 100%shure its not allready that way, but it does not seem like it after living through a few experiences of this.
Thanks for your ears...And a great game.

From what I recall of poison and sleep, you have a chance to wake up, but it's by no means certain.

The question is, in the scenario you presented, was the sleeping person (I presume it was you) taking damage from poison, plague, scourge, etc.? As far as I know, being hurt to a certain extent will wake you from a forced type of sleep only if you take more damage while slept. See, it would actually become a semi-viable tactic to run around with 50%hp with a village berserker if you were immune to all kinds of sleep...
