You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#41534, "What does Renewal of Spring do?"

I get the feeling this one has hidden benifits but I'm not going to take a legacy based on a feeling.

Anyone ever had it? Thoughts?

...First of all, all but the +3 con you get is going to be subjective and based on my experience, and has no factual/code-based support.

You get +3 (+5?) con.

You (seem) to age slower.

You (seem) to heal better with your low con than you normally would.

You (seem) to make better saving throws on stuff that checks CON.

That's all I got. Total niche legacy that I am glad is in the game (have a level 47 warrior you love playing but he only has 5 con? rank to 48 and take Renewal).

Probably no stat loss when aging too.

I picked it with my cloud axe/pole rager.

It was something like a one time +2 or +3 bump to con and it seemed to help saves against spells/supps that check con.

It was still 3deaths/con though.
