Was there *ever* or is there a vampire race that no matter what hoops to jump though, could possibly be attained by a player? When Eshval was around, I felt like she hinted at it. If not, has there been any serious talk of perhaps a new race soon in the future?

Could you compare the parrying ability of invoker's touches to the weapons they know? They the worst, best, middle? And in any way shape or form do touches boost the power/help learning rate of the correlated spell path?

How dramatic is dodging from just one tier of Autumn harvest? Let's say two fire giants just for the sake of likeness... would a human size giant dodge a normal size giant better with Autumn? Or would dance prove more efficient?

Thanks!

I'm not staff but having played a few invokers, I can say with 99% certainty that touch spells do boost the power of associated elemental spells, and very noticeably too.

It would be a wash with one drop in size difference compared to dance.

With two drops in size it is superior and gets better after each.

Like players have to undergo a quest once they hit 51 to become a new class, and they start over at level 1 (but the same age, same constitution) and have to reach the level of their skills but not re-practice ones they already knew?

Say, for instance, paladins, warriors, heavy-armor clerics and rangers could become some new class that blended the abilities of all of those classes.

It is a cool idea and I have seen it very successfully done before.

I'll be an antipaladin, power to 51, and remort as a necromancer, and lich. Lich+unholy blessing ftw.

This idea doesn't work for CF.

I could see it done in a very limited fashion...

That would require a ton of balancing/decision-making for the designer of the system. i.e. - what classes should we allow to remort to what other classes? Make this decision for every class. Next step: What does every possible new combination look like and what do we have to get rid of from both classes to balance it? Do we gut the skill-tree of the first incarnation or the second? Etc. etc.

Gigantically huge problem.

Edited to add: Remember that they have to be balanced through all ranges. I still want my first incarnation whatever to be relatively competent against your second incarnation whatever in the midranges. Do we balance this with distention? (Because you probably still have a cabal and hero gear, right?)

Obviously the ridiculous notions you guys are coming up with would have to be dealt with by removing certain skills. But Zulg already answered my question.

I'd say we've considered it long enough to realize that it just wouldn't work in CF, and that we don't want to do it.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
