#39944, "Similar Note: Templar's Defense"

Admittedly, this is after reading Bhowaer logs regarding respond, but on a similar note, how is it possible for a 2-Handed Paladin to use a templar's defense move on someone NOT targetting them? Or at least striking them in some fashion (AP Bloodlust). Given you're supposed to parry an attack, then strike, I sure as heck wouldn't randomly swing at the 2-hander just to let them do that to me. Or in the more extreme case, when two 2-hander paladins are perma-lagging with it.

Now yes, I know pally's don't have much to work with to begin with, but that's one that's always bothered me. I guess the echos aren't TOO specific, so maybe the paladin is randomly jumping in to intercept a blow against the target, then using the templar's defense. Of course, I've also seen someone get hit w/ all attacks, and the Paladin still has the random out of the blue parry-and-attack.
