In all it's variations, it's probably the most commonly heard phrase in the sub twenties (and the most frustrating), but I wonder if it's even useful. I mean, skills/spells/sups seem to go up way faster if you're grouped. Or, it's just more fun and seems to be like that ...

Anyway, sure, there's spell spamming necessities, like with Invokers, but generally speaking, going at it alone seems to be the masochistic (and the not very social) way of doing things, unless I am missing something?

If ranking too fast is a problem, make sure you don't, it's not that hard.

When I'm out solo ranking and someone asks me to group up. I typically have something that I am doing. Maybe the mobs have good money and I'm saving up, maybe they have weapons for me to practice disarm, etc.

Ok, so you ask me to group. I say sure, I'm over here fighting these guys. Well, says the mage who can't solo rank, that is unacceptable. I want to go rank over "here". Well says I, do it your ####ing self then, because I'm just fine where I'm at.

Especially if you consider most of them are practicing as well

Just seems silly to me, to play a multiplayer game all by yourself. Or to gear it towards that ...
