I would have logged on just to make sure I didn't auto-delete. I am sure you can imagine how much it sucks to lose a character you have put many many hours into, were having a lot of fun with, and can't just re-roll. In case you can't, it ####ing blows. I don't mean to sound pissed, I'm just really bummed. I went through all the work to get empowered by a made up god, spent a bunch of time gathering donations for the Empire, and had what I thought was a pretty descent role. All of that gone because I thought I had 30 days like the helpfile says. Please change it.

It was briefly mentioned to me in game by scarab in a meeting that there was a priest of mephistopholes around. Was a bit curious actually, mind posting your role here in your goodbye? Im interested to read it.

I actually had interesting plans for you in game. Im not how Maug would have reacted when he met you, on one hand, you were a servant of the hells, on the other hand, I think he would have always saw you as some sort of inferior lackey, being a priest of satan and all

I suppose it could have went either way, im not one to ruin a players fun with the anathema stick or anything, but I guarantee you would have had a hard time getting elite priest under me, Maug would trust a priest of an archdevil WAY less than even an enlilth priest. I can't really say more without going into my role for now, but I had every intentions of killing your lord and telling you about it later. Maybe even making you help and witness it

I may be wrong, but im pretty sure a few people in game other than scarab mentioned that was your god, so if im wrong whoops. It does please me as a player though to see people taking an interest in hell, in whatever form.

Mephistopholes wasn't in my original role. I had another made up god. At some point though Mephistopholes came to me and told me my Lord was dead. I could follow him or follow no one. He made the deal to lead me to power if I followed him, so I did. I thought it was really fun. It sucks we won't get to play it out and see what would have happened. I had a lot of good RP with all kinds of characters going. I can't post the role because I didn't save a copy of it and the character is gone and I wasn't high enough level for a PBF. #### YOU AUTO-DELETION!

The help file said X. It should be X or fix it. There are ways to fix this. Its your bad, not his. This is not the 6th age. Don't punish a very, very well rped Char. I know its not your fault, but it kinda is.

Nothing is going to send away pissed off players more than losing a character they were playing due to an incomplete/incorrect helpfile.

I'd like to see this fixed too, however I'm not sure an Imm can just edit, say, a human pfile into a minotaur. There would be hick-ups, and probably a whole lot of fiddling with the pfile.. A system that, judging by the trouble it has caused the mud in the past, isn't exactly easily manipulable.

However, with the way Zulg set up the backup there might still be a chance. Depending on how it was set up. But also the imms would have to be willing to reinstate it.

It would be cool if something like that happened. I am not going to quit playing if it doesn't. After all this OOC talk about the character it makes me not care to much what happens. Either way, thanks to the imm who was Mephistopheles. The whole experience made me want to try another empowerment character.

I'm fairly certain that to date we've avoided saying how much faster in order to help avoid slot hording. Because, let's face it, there are people that will hang on to a Minotaur slot by logging in as little as possible just to keep it for themselves (this began immediately after implementation).
