I figured this would be the best place to fit this sort of thing.
Adeglicfh's deletion got me to thinking. It seems like everytime I am -really- bummed about everything I end up reading a post where someone makes a comment about Borkahd. I see people post and make positive statements, state that they are anxious to see him advance, they enjoyed some RP, or whatever. There seems to be a small core group that makes these comments with a few others chiming in once and awhile.
It is the players, you guys, that made me want to Imm in the first place. I am into RP and when I first got the idea of sending in an Imm app I had the idea that I would take my love of RP and help to enhance the player's enjoyement of CF. This is still my goal. To help make the game more fun for you guys. And, in return, many of you have offered me your support (via these forums and qhcf).
I just wanted to give you guys a big THANK YOU for giving me that little nudge at the right time and offering your support. I promise that I will keep at it as long as possible to achieve my goal of enhancing your experience.

You and Nnae are going to be such an amazing tag team. By far the two most anticipated IMM's of my 7 year career. I'm sure you are putting in massive amounts of work, and it's all for us, and for that I am very appreciative.
I can't wait until you make it. I guarantee a bunch of vets will be coming out of the woodwork on that day to try you out =)

Borkahd, especially, is reminiscent (to me) of those times in life when you're at, say, a bar of ill repute, and the biggest, drunkest, most clearly psychotic guy in the county comes over to "make friends."
He seems pleasant enough, but his "sense of humor" allows a glimpse into the fact that he's a hair's breadth away from a complete change of demeanor that would involve tearing people's arms off.
All to often when playing this game you're aware that the person you're interacting with is just a guy somewhere at a computer. With Bork I've never doubted for a moment that he was an actual Fire Giant Godling, and that is the sort of #### that keeps me playing this game.
So thank you and keep it up.

I don't get to interact with imms much anymore, mostly because of my high character turn over rate. Never make it to hero or past about 20-30 hours anymore.
Anyway, point is, I got to interact with you as Aluvik and I appreciated you coming down to RP/thought it was pretty cool. Unfortunately I completely botched that character by making a bad terrain choice and when my RP angle ended up being fun I botched that by playing under the influence.
Whoever gave me that early interaction in the grove of the past, highly appreciated that too. That being one of the times I didn't respond in the way I would have wanted to had I been coherent.
Sometimes I make a strong character, but don't get the RP going and sometimes I get the RP going but the character turns out to be crap in terms of power heh.
One day I'll find a happy medium. Thanks to all the immortals and especially Borkahd, Corrlaan (my usual patron diety), and of course Zulghinlour.

Well, I think I'm a little (maybe a lot) over critical of myself. I regret this one especially since I liked the role as well and I don't often finish a role and think "Nice one me."
Ah well, there is bound to be another some day.
