Skill in most spells doesn't do make the spell any better, right? But some conjurer spells it does mater like clairvoyance and clairaudience, what about contact other planes? Do you learn more or get bad sideeffects less? How about familiar? do they get more hp or damredux? Any other spells that skill makes better?

If I recall, spell skill does make familiars and other spells better if you take the edges that improved spell skill allows.

For example, I seem to recall that familiar edges require a certain skill level in the familiar spell.

I'm pretty sure clairvoyance shows more info if you have more skill in it.
