You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Does this spell kill you if you don't escape?

How do villagers escape it?

1. No. You can sink there for any time you want.

2. Most villagers are warriors. There is a very easy way to avoid quicksand. If you failed, I THINK there is a very easy way (maybe a bug?) to get out of no matter what you carry and how badly you maladicted. If you are an arial it gets even more easier - there is again a way to avoid getting webbed and dropped down.
If we speak about bards, they are arials mostly - look above. Thieves, assassins, rangers can just wait it out. They can go smoke, watch TV, chat with their GF whilst an invoker should keep himself on watch.
