Was curious what the official Imm opinion was on people dropping link instead of quitting. I don't mean dropping link to avoid pk or anything like that as is expressly forbidden in the rules. I mean more like if I'm in some remote area and I don't want to run to town to quit, only to run all the way back the next time I log in. Is that frowned upon and should I expect some type of warning or penalty if I do it regularly? Or does nobody really care?
