You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

If I am evil, not orderly and not a priest, can I take the oath without penalties?

Yes, unless your sphere is, say, Chaos.

If you've got sleek wands to find, will your ethos changing not effect that?

Nope. Your wand locations don't change, meaning you might end up with one as a bloodoathed previously non-orderly mage that an orderly mage normally wouldn't get. If this turns out to be inconvienient, tough.

The only penalty will be that you'll be an imperial. Your ethos will be changed to orderly with no obvious effects, even if you were chaotic.
