Or maybe contact other planes. Why not add attack type for a weapon? I know this is relatively easy to test out - just wield the thing and hit something, but if magic can tell you things like adds +4 hit, +2 strength, or can only be used by someone pure of heart, why can't it also tell you the weapon strikes with the wrath of the heavens?
