#3192, "Healers suggestion."

If healers are really mobs (people) and not machines that blindly heal....

Why would they care who gave them the money, as long as they get their money.

My suggestion would add another possible argument to the Heal command.

Heal blindness heals you

with

Heal blindness Otherperson

You pay the healer and ask him to try to heal someone else standing in the room.

Imagine that you are by the pit with your buddy and these guys come in to whack im. You cant pk em, but they can pk your friend.
Now while they perma-bash him to death, or attempt to, you just spam 'heal heal buddy' and basically keep him alive.

Another secenario is a necro sleeps your friend by a healer and you could use your money to remove all your friend's maledictions. This seems highly abusable.

Of all the thousands of rooms in cf, this would effect less than .0001% of the rooms? How hard is it to wait till he moves one step (or even easier to MAKE him move one step) then commence to bash. Also, you know how expensive that heal heal is? With today's recession in cf funds, that really doesn't seem feasible really. Or...you can limit it to healing maladictions.

If the necro can sleep and maladict someone, how hard is it to summon and curse? My opinion would be any necro that sleeps someone at a healer and lets his maladictions be cured by someone else more than once before moving the fight elsewhere DESERVES to have all of his maladictions cured.

How hard is it to pick up a potion of cure blindness? The importance of being blinded and unable to remove it before you'd like, is to teach you to be prepared.

>Or...you can limit it to healing maladictions.

Now that wouldn't be very useful now would it. Suppose your helping tribunal defend the Spire. The tribunals with you cannot heal you or hurt the person attacking. So they call you. You attack the person and they run, but you are wounded. Now before they come back full health, your going to need to heal up, but how can you because you've just all your heals from the pervious battle you were in. OR, suppose your attacking tribunal and need to heal up before you return to kill the person they have helping them? Either way, like you yourself said, if the healer doesn't care where his money is coming from, why would they limit the number of heals they would give out?

I've tried over 5 different "cure blindness" items ....all of them that I was able to find.

Not one of them worked even ONCE in an attempt to cure blind from a shaman or necro or ap pc after the VERY early ranks..

Not once.

You might know of one that works after say...rank 15. But I've spent alot of hours asking people for information and searching, with many chars, and I have yet to find one that works in pk after rank 15.

Higher level items of this type definitely exist, and my area knowledge doesn't include pretty much anything added in the last year.

Related to the first comment... imagine one hero Maran defending the Fortress from a group of Imperials. Imagine what a difference it'd make if three lowbie Maran were at the inner guard with him, spamming heal heal for him. This is more help than they reasonably should be able to give, unless they're healers or such themselves.
