#3079, "Centurions and the "And" command idea"
|
After recently walking up to a roadblock I was stuck yet again. Those damn centurions wanted 4000 for passage, and I had two items on me worth 2500 a pop, but they wouldn't take them individually. So I got to thinking, why not let me pay item x *and* item y at the same time, Empire still gets their money, and I have one less headache to worry about. Seems feasible I guess, just something to pass along.
Pay Item x *and* y

I think Imperials should be allowed to tell centurions to let someone pass. At present, if someone comes to help defend imperials they still have to pay the fee to pass. It seems a little pointless when imperials are paying non-imperials so that the non-imperial can pay the imperial toll.

The centurions only answer the call of the Empire. One of the purpose for centurions is to collect tolls for the Empire. No citizens can tell a centurion to allow any non-Imperial persons to pass through, not even an Emperor. No one is above the Imperial law.
>At present, if someone comes to help defend >imperials they still have to pay the fee to pass
No one helps the Empire except the Empire themselves. That's why the various sects. The Empire does not believe in 'help' that comes from non-Imperials; any other way is seen as weak.

Then that Imperial has a lot to answer for himself. Don't be surprised if the Imperial gets anathema-ed.
