Creeping, as you know, is the art of moving silently through a forest whilst camo. I have always thought that if one ranger is camo in one place and creeps to another then another ranger would not follow him in the same manner that the first ranger left since he has camoed himself in a different way I.E. under a big pile of leaves as opposed to within the trunk of an old rotted out tree.

But I think what would be cool to ease frustration would be to make it so groupmates do NOT follow creeping rangers.

that it would be ok for a group not to follow their creeping ranger partner. It makes sense, your fellow groupie dissapears in the leaves, cant really follow him.

But as far as rangers following each other, i think that should work just fine. Those soldiers or whatever, special ops can follow each other creeping without a problem. Creeping is an art, but its the same art. You could take this to assassins and thieves following each other, its the same deal. Its just too much of a pain in the neck it seems, wether the ranger camoes in a tree trunk or whatever is not relevant.

What they could do is: If you have a group of rangers and one creeps, and other follows, if the leading ranger is higher rank, the followers never step out, but if the leading ranger is lower rank than his groupie ranger, there is a chance of stepping out. The bigger the rank different the higher the chance of stepping out.

Just make it so that a pair or more of rangers creeping together have a very high chance of stepping out.
