I understand not making as damaging or more so than impale because you don't get hit if you miss, but it's not particularly useful when it doesn't do anything beyond eviscerates, if even that when trample will generally do far more damage on anything not larger than you.

Or does it have some redeeming quality I didn't notice? Or is it unintentionally low damage?

Not sure what I was thinking beyond...it's one horn vs. two. I upped the damage on it a bit, and at the same time fixed up feral pig so it isn't goring the same as a boar.
