You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#28155, "BM Hunters"

Recently I thought about making a BM hunter but decided against it due to the utter lack of attack skills which can be used in battle with it. Are there any thoughts to throw some kind of rake, bite, claw, swipe, or some kind of beast-like attack in there for them?

Elbow, kick, knee, and dirt are the only skills to use in combat from 22-29 with predators stance. From 30-35 to 51, adds bearcharge and backrake. Just seems like someone who is acting like a rampaging beast should be able to at least thrash about like one. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

You have a number of other skills. Or at least things to do in combat.

Mainly to do with... BEASTS.

e.g.
wasps, serpents.

where "hunter" is a class, and BM is "beast master".

He's thinking ranger, and the animist?
