You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

#27897, "Firefox and CF forums"

I found out that logging in to forums does nothing when I use firefox as my internet browser. The screen will just go away like I'd be logged in normally, only that I'm not logged in. If I login after clicking reply post button, I get to the reply writing screen but after pressing post, it will ask me to log in first. So, I can log in but am not logged in to the forums.

This problem does not exist in Internet Explorer or Opera and does not occur in Dioxides or Facebook.

The forums also aren't very Blackberry friendly.

I use FF on Windows and OSX and haven't seen this problem. Check if you have it configured to reject cookies.

Same thing happened to me when I had FF set not to store any private data. Enable cookies.
