This works for warrior, thief, ranger, bard, assassin, paladin, anti-paladin & berserkers (melee classes)

Originally it was for warriors & berserkers only and didn't affect hand to hand. Now, at least some, if not all, other classes can also improve from observing their opponent and you can improve at hth.
