Is the answer to my question in this thread, re: helms and blackjack, the same as if the question had been with regard to cranial?

That is to say if two items have the same AC values but one is a "full helm" (i.e. can't wear a mask) and the other is just a helmet (i.e. can wear a mask), then will the former give you more resistance to cranial than the latter?

It doesn't matter if it's a "full helm", just that it's a piece of armor with AC bash.
