The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. #254, "Enhancement for h2h specs crushing blow"

Why would a warrior hand to hand if not for stun only. That makes h2h skill a pretty weak one. Besides vital, what else can a h2h specs do to weaken their opponents? I'm suggesting to include crushingblow to have a chance that will disarm a person from the blow on the shoulders and reduce strength.

The difference, I feel, a h2h warrior and assassin is this :
Asssassins use techniques to wear down an opponent while a h2h warrior uses battle strategy to subdue his opponent. Just some thoughts.

Yea, I'd like to see something like that too, especially since crushing blow has a three round lag and only stuns sometimes. Either that, or give pummel some kind of status effect, seeing as though it becomes almost useless two ranks after you get it, unless you're plannig on missing, but then that wouldnt make sense would it?
