You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

One with shadows
Does this legacy only trigger on "surprise attacks" or does it get checked anytime anyone initiates combat with you? And is it prime stat wisdom?

Balance of the sisters
Can you use exotic skills from your offhand using this legacy? would be nifty to see batter plus riposte hehe.

What kinds of situations are deemed "surprise" attacks? For example, is it a surprise attack if you couldn't see your attacker before he initiated?

#25039, "Does assassinate count?"

I've seen it fire on blackjack (prevented working), ambush (didn't prevent, just riposted) and strangle (prevented working). But I have no idea if it'll actually stop assassinate when it fires.
