#24450, "Flaw Idea"
|
I posted this on the contest forum, but this seems like a much better place to put it. Sorry for the double post.
Flaw name: Portly
Through many years of over eating, the person is grotesquely overweight and requires much more food to get that full feeling. Also, this person would need to eat far more often than a normal being, leaving their stomachs almost constantly growling (echos here would be cool, but that's probably over the top).
Thoughts?

With morale getting worse the hungrier you're getting and longer you stay hungry. This would force the player to eat more often if they want to keep their morale high. I think that would work better than what you are suggesting.
Another possibility could be food consumption being that of a one size bigger character. Eg. human with a giant's appetite.

Your stomach could grumble periodically. Which people in the room will here, even if you are hidden or chamo.

#24454, "interesting, but maybe not a flaw"

Thing is, there are a number of characters where that would be an edge.
For example, there's an orc edge called "Glutton".
This flaw would enable you to eat more speckled pills, for example. So it isn't necessarily a flaw at all.
