I don't get the point of these shifter skills. You get one weak attack with a 5 hour (6 tick) timer to reuse. What's the point? Seriously, the only time I EVER use these skills is when my moves are shot from pinching. I'm like, *sigh* "Ok, I'll take my one last shot"

You lift your abdomen and spray the area with acid!
Your spray of acid maims an elven conjurer!

"Well, now that that's done, I'll just sit here and auto attack until we rest."


Why doesn't scorpion have poisonsting instead? When I was living in the jungle of the Philippines, I had a pet scorpion for a month. I never saw him spray any acid on his prey. He just calmly reached out and clamped down on a cricket, then just as calmly brought his tail forward and gently stabbed the cricket which promptly died from the poison. Then holding his prey in front of his mouth with one big claw, he brought 4 more little pinching claws out of his mouth and began to take the cricket apart, piece by piece, stuffing them into his now gaping maw. At no time did acid come into the picture. Now maybe there are scorpions who spray acid, but the ones in the Philippines, and the ones here in Texas sure don't.
