That wielding whips over flails as a flail specialists is going to have more skills land, is there any truth to this? I mean if this is the case, i'd rather wield whips over flails for the skills landing.
Anyways, just curious. Thanks

I also used to use a whip off-hand and a flail main wield just because of the defenses/weight. But pertaining to skills, doesn't this mean whips are generally a much poorer choice for ANY whip/flail spec? In either wield slot?

This is mostly where my strategy would be.
Vs. an opponent who knows both, probably wielding a whip instead of a flail will both let you hit a little more and get you hit a little more. Sometimes that's a good trade for you, sometimes it isn't.

That's because it's one of those guess and hope things in CF that you can't know for sure without either looking at the code or doing an elaborate and well-analyzed experiment.
