I heard from another player IC about some marble statue pieces with cool powers. He said he was trying to reassemble them into a full statue. It sounded to me to be kinda unlikely for this game. Maybe it's not though. I'm just wondering if this is an actual quest that can be completed, or someone just chasing a wild goose.

If there are any quests that may or may not exist, this is certainly not the place trying to find any answers. Keep it in character and in game.

I honestly doubt if one character could actually carry all of the pieces. They are heavier than ####.

Maybe a fire ap? I don't think they can even pick them up though.

Is very, very, very slim.

There's roughly a dozen pieces and each of them are unique (only one in the game). You would have to log in everyday and kill the mob with said piece of statue, twice (if they aren't holding it), hoping that whoever had it previously has leveled past 25 or got zapped by the anti-hoarding code. And even then, you may never get them all unless you yourself level sit. Who wants to level sit a mage below 25? They are weak sauce.
