All angels don't do more damage than all demons, if you follow. Different demons are good for different things, even within the realm of pure damage.

This is extra-true if you're not fighting something evil with them and the angel's wrath falls out of the picture.

In the 25-35 range, it's not hard to play your Angels so they pump out UNSPEAKABLE forked lightnings.

The most damage out of any demon in that range came from challegha, with acid blast. It only hit for measly obliterates.

I'm also pretty sure that the angel's autoattack is doing more damage. Wrath_noun is a lot more attractive than slice, suction and beating for exploiting vulns. But if no nouns are present, is it getting around physical AC?

This all could be because angels come out higher level than demons. Who knows.

Angels never pumped out that damage with forked lightning that I saw.

Pillar, yes, but that comes with huge drawbacks (like dead groupmates) and is easily preventable.

The right demons do more consistent damage, angels do less damage overall but randomly have the chance for highter top end damage. You aren't going to see that many pillars in pk, and that very skill you are praising limits where you can use them in ranking. At least with demons if your demon is poor for the place you are ranking, you have choices.

Be specific about what demons you're talking about, because I can't point out exactly how wrong you are until you do.

Demons are chalk full of bad skill-sets. Because angels have smaller skill sets, (heavenly wrath, forked lightning, bash), they are much more consistant. Their melee abilities vary, but it's pretty evident that angels match or excel in that department across the board. It doesn't hurt, that for the same mana you get a higher level angel.

Every angel vs demon fight I've seen results in the demon getting spanks. Even when the demon was much higher level. What are you basing your information on? What demon does more consistant damage?

You've already made up your mind and clearly know all there is to know about conjurers.

Even just arguing with the parts that are factually wrong has worn me out without even getting into the opinion parts.

Oreo, go ahead and play an angel-focused conjurer if you think they're that much better. I can think of maybe one of those ever that was decently tough, so you'll get to be the second.

btw, I think someone could do angle-conjie justice. Esp. with conjie edges. For instance, a Kanev-played (or someone comparable) fort conjie with angels probably wouldn't rack up 281 kills, but I'm thinking he could easily break 100.
