Does the skill kick affect how effective or how damaging the "kicking" skill of cross-down parry is?

I don't think so, but I can't swear it's not a requirement for the cross edges. Who knows what my thought process was when setting them since I could argue it either way.

Kick is not a requirement for Cross. I had a warrior that never practiced kick, but I did practice and use cross.
