#18370, "Regeneration in forms."
|
I have noticed that when you have protections on, via invoker or wands that the regen is nerfed in form. It defeats the purpose of the form if you cannot heal decently in form when it costs extra mana being a minor form when you can revert and sleep with slow to heal quicker. I am not asking you to nerf sleeping with slow but I think the regen forms have been tweaked a bit too low when using abs etc.

That's got to be a bug. Protection should not affect a forms regen. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

Though nep said he would look at tweaking the higher end regen forms a bit because of it.
Essentially with abs your still healing the same amount you healed before. If without protection you regened 10 hp a round then with 50% redux you regen 5 per round. In the end you can still take the same amount of damage only 10 base damage.

Ugh, defensive focus just got a lot less attractive. I hope they tweak them a lot to make up for that. That which does not kill us, makes us stronger.

It's tweaked to what feels appropriate to me, now. An unprotected anaconda (or whatever) regens significantly faster than pre-change; you have to stack DR on pretty heavily to come out much behind.
Edited so I can add for clarity: And by 'now', I mean like nine months ago.
