The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#16479, "Blackjack, knock-out traps vs knock-out poisoners"

Don't know if it is be design that both blackjack and knock-out traps don't bring the thief out from hiding until triggered. For poisoner it's different. I remember that if the victim moves from the room, a poisoner steps out of the shadow.

Also while mixing poisons, the poisoner steps out. It takes quite some time to concoct the poison and the poison vial does evaporate (expensive path and need to re-concoct regularly). However the other rogue skills don't cause the rogue to step out unnecessarily.

Maybe edges to help poisoners?
