You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

You may have it already tacked out ready for coding etc but they could follow two major spec choices. They could follow demons or devils. Devils being more defense and spell orientated and demons being more attack and skill orientated. There could be a few devils or demons they could follow either as progressions or as actual skill/spell set choices. Just a thought, actual skills and spells people could either add their ideas below or blow this out of the water.

My plan for an axis of A-P specialization went something like this:

Choice 1: I like demons.
Choice 2: I like devils.
Choice 3: I like unspeakable Cthulhu-esque alien evil entities. (Or more something like the gods Elric calls upon, if you prefer, but in that rough mold.)
Choice 4: I like mortals and glorify mortal works and magic to a profane degree, roughly treating priests and divine interference as Battle treats magic. I.E. not atheistic because they're damn sure it exists, they just don't like it and what it implies.

Whether that plan would have survived contact with other immortals and/or more detailed planning, who knows!

Arioch!, My lord Arioch! Blood and souls if you aid me now!
-Elric of melnibone.(sp?)

Cthulhu for president- Don't settle for the lesser evil.

(Sorry I had to do it.)
