Make effective use of Maces?

Can a gnome or elf get off a Boneshatter or will they be likely to try unsuccesfully more times than a giant?

Does their bone shatter do less?

For that matter does Boneshatter depend on the weight of the mace?

To my knowledge, all races do the same amount of malediction with their boneshatter.

Weight can ONLY possibly affect chance of landing. With Kruuank, I tried many different maces with boneshatter, and to my knowledge, all of them did the same thing.
