You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

#12734, "A shaman question directed at the IMMs"

Are shaman like anti-paladin's and paladins in the sense that higher int/wis mean more effective prayers?

Though I am not sure thats exactly how it works with paladins each race def has different strength wraths I have noticed.

and if it is like anti-paladins is it int or wis that determines prayer strength?

In CF terms, there are distinct differences and benefits between wisdom and intelligence. The strength of supps/spells are dependent on char level.

However in most AD&D games, priests are associated with wisdom, while mages are intelligence.
