You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

I might be wrong here, but the only way to remove the evil flag from an item is a paladin. I'm wondering why there is no other way to do this. For a goodie who doesn't like paladins, read outlanders heh, it would be nice if there is was a way to do this. This is mostly wishful thinking, and I might be wrong and there already is another way. But, if not, is there any chance of something like this happening?

Only paladins are really holy enough to purge evil. No other class is required to be good, so only paladins have the requisite creds. This is like asking for other ways to ambush someone, or "Hey can you please make it so I can scourge as a non necromancer?" etc.

Playing a goodie Outlander comes with certain positives and negatives. This happens to be one of the negatives. However Outlander dogma doesn't require you to loathe, despise and BASH BASH BASH all things paladinly either. Find one your character can at least marginally get on with, and have them do it. Otherwise just don't wear stuff you need cleansed.
