You are viewing a read-only archive of the Carrion Fields discussion forums built from a snapshot of the forum database on 2026-08-25. The search page works, though it is not as sophisticated as the old forum search. This archive encompasses approximately 25 years of CF discussion. Today, that discussion continues on Discord (see the main website for a link).

Some of the special-purpose forums are listed below along with their replacements (as of writing):

Is there any way you can make items that are duplicated show up like they are when they're duplicated in your inventory? So instead of seeing

A skull ring in a room
A skull ring in a room
A skull ring in a room
A skull ring in another room
A skull ring in another room

You would see

(3) A skull ring in a room
(2) A skull ring in another room

or alternatively

(5) A skull ring in : a room, and another room

I don't know how much of a donkey the coding would be to do that, but it would make the locate spell infinitely less spammy, so if you could do that I'd love it.

I looked at this a few times, and it's not simple. Gonna move to long-term to tackle later.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
